Eric founded Cantemus in 1985 - something to do instead of retirement!

He finally retired from Cantemus in July 2000 following his direction of the combined choirs of Cantemus and Alumni Cantores in a performance of Beethoven's Mass in C.

A leaving "do" was held at Black Ladies Priory in September 2000.

At the 2000 AGM both Eric & Jill Bennett were made Honorary Life Members of Cantemus.
